AOT hosts OA knee seminars
AOT was pleased to host a series of seminars in Melbourne and Sydney to review knee OA bracing management.
The seminars featured international key note speaker Dr Thorvaldur Ingvarsson, M.D., Ph.D. Professor & Senior consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at the department of Orthopaedics, Akureyri Hospital, Iceland.
Over 75 delegates attended the seminars where Dr Thorvaldur reviewed the latest trends in knee OA management and Unloader knee bracing. Recently published papers highlighting the efficacy of the Unloader One knee brace were reviewed along with a summary of other conditions for which Unloader braces could be considered.

A highlight of the seminars were the clinical case studies where patient cases were presented and Unloader One knee brace treatment out comes discussed.
The sessions concluded with a knee brace fitting demonstration and discussion amongst delegates regarding the potential role of Unloader bracing in their clinical practice. |
